This class is a training session for the photographer looking to create lasting memories by composing books in Lightroom. Whether you’re the owner of a new digital camera or an experienced enthusiast, this class will teach you how to use Adobe Lightroom to gather your photos, compose a book or magazine, and send it for printing at Blurb. This class will introduce students to topics including:
Using the Book module to layout your book or magazine
Adding text to pages and photos
Understanding the book and magazine choices offered by Blurb
Getting all the settings right for printing
Setting up your own Blurb online bookstore where people can buy your creations
Our instructor: Brad Husick is an LHSA Board Member and professional photographer with more than 40 years of experience. Brad’s photos have been published in several magazines and in the New York Times. He was the mission photographer for the first private spaceflight – Space Ship One, and for the launch of the first Ocean Cleanup system in the Pacific. Brad was also a professional sports photographer for three years. He often writes camera, software and lens reviews for online sites and teaches extensively for groups and individuals.
