This Webinar is aimed at the Leica user who would wish to have a small collection of early film Leicas and/or to use them occasionally. Leica enthusiasts with larger collections and/or regular film users should also find something to interest them in the talk. The talk will cover LTM (screw-mount) Leicas from the beginning and also M mount cameras up to about the M6

William was born in Ireland in 1949. He holds Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Public Administration degrees from University College, Dublin. His career was largely in the public sector and in the latter part of it he worked in the areas of regulation, consumer protection and competition where he held several senior positions in Ireland and abroad. He also held senior positions in the telecoms sector in the same areas.
William has been a keen photographer and collector of vintage cameras and other photographic items for many years and he is the author of over 40 articles, both online and in print, in respect of cameras and photography. He is a member of the following photographic organizations:
