Imagine April in Santa Fe…

The 2018 LHSA Spring Shoot will take place from April 19-22 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. With its legendary photographic history, this promises to be an inspirational, spectacular, and memorable event in The City Different! Plan on arriving Thursday, April 19 in time for an informal 6 PM gathering. Fly home on Sunday, April 22. You may want to arrive a day early or stay a day later to better enjoy more of the Santa Fe area.

Your days will be busy, full of knowledgeable, well-traveled speakers who will challenge you and your photography. There will be assignments and lots of opportunities to wander and wonder at the beauty of Santa Fe.

Attendees will be broken up into small groups. Ideas and knowledge that will inspire your work will be shared among shooters from all over the country. We are hoping this will help you find or define your visual voice by testing your comfort zone and encouraging you to expand your photographic experiences.

We will be editing, viewing and offering critiques of your work. This sharing and team experience will also heighten the process. Taking the picture is easy, but editing and finding the best image that tells the story is equally important.

This promises to be an all-in photographic experience. Our goal is to shoot lots of pictures, explore Santa Fe and our photographic talents. We’ll also spend time will like-minded folks who share the same passion as you for photography. The photographic power and magic of Santa Fe will no doubt inspire us all.
