CITY & HOTEL

Discover Santa Fe, a unique city with a robust history. Honored as one of the world's most creative cities, Santa Fe has remained rooted in the artistic community for over a century. Established by Don Pedro Peralta circa 1609, the city was settled by Europeans before the Plymouth Colony, establishing Santa Fe as the oldest European community west of the Mississippi. The LHSA Spring Shoot hotel is the La Fonda, with rooms starting at $149 per night. It is located in downtown Santa Fe, and is the only hotel on the historic Plaza! An example of one of Santa Fe's 4-Diamond hotels, La Fonda on the Plaza offers three classic New Mexican dining experiences including a one-of-a-kind outdoor cocktail bar. Breathtaking venues showcase views of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, creating an idyllic location for Santa Fe photography.

PLEASE NOTE: that the Spring Shoot hotel, LA FONDA has sold out of rooms. We have contacted another hotel property near the La Fonda (less than 4 minute walk):

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Plan to arrive on Thursday, April 19 in time for a 6 PM informal gathering in the La Fonda (not required). If you are flying, you have the option of two airports: Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ), or the Santa Fe Municipal Airport (SAF).

Flights into Albuquerque are more frequent and may be less expensive, but because Santa Fe is 64 miles north of Albuquerque, you will need to rent a car or arrange for additional transportation.

Getting from the Santa Fe Airport to the La Fonda Hotel

Car rentals are available at the Santa Fe airport. If you choose to use other transportation, you may use a shuttle service or Uber. There are no cab companies in Santa Fe.
