Our sixth annual LHSA Photography Grant is established to provide financial support for deserving photographers who are in the process of creating or completing a personal photographic project and to provide opportunities for their work to be seen by a larger audience.

This year LHSA is working in partnership with Leica Camera, Inc. The theme of the 2022 Grant is Photojournalism and supports Leica's "The World Deserves Witnesses" campaign.

The recipient will receive a grant for $5000 USD, and for the first time, the grant also includes a Leica M10-R camera with a 50mm f/1.4 Summilux ASPH lens, courtesy of Leica Camera, Inc. This is more than $18,000 USD value. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes in their local jurisdiction.

The number of applications will be limited to fifty (50). All applications have a fee of $35 USD each and must adhere to the application requirements. If an application does not follow the requirements as outlined, it will be rejected. This is a global program where allowed by law.
