Designated a World Heritage site in 1984, Yosemite is internationally recognized for its spectacular granite cliffs, towering waterfalls, clear streams, and giant Sequoia groves.Join Leica Akademie Instructors, Tom Brichta and Fine Art Photographer Michael Phaling as they guide you to some of the most iconic photo opportunities the park has to offer. Relax and capture breathtaking images of Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan as well as a few secret vistas. Making the most of your Leica gear, while recording the landscape in both color and black and white will be the emphasis of this workshop.The beautiful Yosemite Lodge, in the heart of Yosemite Valley, across from Yosemite falls, will serve as our home base. This trip is designed to allow you to relax and focus on your photography with instruction from some of Leica's best.Topics covered include:

Getting the most from your Leica in the Landscape
In addition to photography, the workshop will include processing and critique sessions with the instructors. Enjoy camaraderie of fellow photographers and share your passion for photography. You will have the opportunity to try out the latest Leica camera and lenses and our small group size ensues personalized attention.
Who should attend this workshop?Photographers of all skill Levels are welcome to attend this workshop. Attendees should be familiar with the basic functions of their camera and be comfortable with controlling shutter speed, aperture and ISO. It is not required that you own or shoot with a Leica camera to attend. You are not required to own a Leica camera to attend, a full selection of loaner equipment will be available.Itinerary A detailed itinerary will be provided with your registration.
