Local Leica User Groups Expanding

More than a decade ago, a small group of Leica enthusiasts got together at one of their homes in Seattle and shared some of their prints with each other. Today that group numbers nearly 100 people. Although the pandemic put meetings on hold, the group is roaring back and sharing photos, food, wine, and stories. That group named itself SLUG - Seattle Leica User Group. Many of their members are also members of LHSA.

We like the model a lot. So we’re helping more groups like SLUG form and organize. New groups include PLUG (Prescott-Phoenix, AZ), LILUG (Long Island, NY), LALUG (Los Angeles, CA), SFLUG (San Francisco, CA), BLUG (Boston, MA) and more outside the US. If you’re interested in connecting with one of these LUGs, send an email to info@lhsa.org and we’ll put you in touch with the right folks. Even better, if you’d like to form a local group, we will help you with tips for organizing.
