Our juror, Karin Rehn-Kaufmann, Art Director & Chief Representative Leica Galleries International, selected three stand-out images from a shortlist of 36 in the “Winners’ Gallery” below. A Havana Camera Bag from Rock n Roll Camera was presented to the top winner; custom LSI camera straps to the second and third place honorees.

FIRST PLACE

“Untitled”

by Tim Kwok

“This image is exceptionally well captured. The contrast between the white ice and the red sails creates a striking visual impact, while the composition conveys a strong sense of depth and three-dimensionality. The viewer is naturally drawn into the scene, making it both dynamic and engaging.”

— Karin Rehn-Kaufmann

Second Place

“Dark Sand” by Hamad Al Khalifa
“This image demonstrates how graphic elements can be beautifully integrated into a landscape image without becoming purely abstract. The lines, shapes, and structure create a compelling visual composition while still maintaining a clear
connection to the landscape itself.” —’Karin Rehn-Kaufmann

Third Place

“Folded Time” by Jacqueline Scripps
“This image showcases the forms and contours of ice landscape in a more abstract way. It leaves room for individual interpretation and invites the viewer to explore different meanings and associations. The balance between representation and abstraction gives the photograph its particular strength and appeal.” — Karin Rehn-Kaufmann
