Leica Society International is proud to announce the launch of its brand-new Photography Competitions platform, a dedicated space built for our community to compete, connect, and celebrate the art of Leica photography. For LSI and its members, this new capability ignites curiosity, inspires creativity, invites connection, and increases engagement, all anchored around our common love for photography. The platform is rich in features but members should only use as much of it as they feel necessary for their needs.
What's inside?
This isn't just another photo gallery. LSI Competitions has been built from the ground up with serious photographers in mind:
-Open competition categories (including Monochrome and Color) welcoming all photographers
-Member-exclusive competition categories - themed challenges open to LSI members and Leica users, with prizes from Leica, LSI, and our sponsors
-Unique data analytics - fascinating insights into camera and lens usage across the community along with global insights
-Community engagement - like, comment and discuss fellow photographers' images
-Your voice matters - help shape the platform through ongoing feedback

To kick things off, we're hosting a public Zoom session on Wednesday, 8th April 2026 at 10:00 a.m. US Eastern Time (see the above registration form to reserve your seat).
Your hosts will be Amitava "Chats" Chatterjee, LSI Vice President/Treasurer, Viewfinder Associate Editor and Leica Reviewer, and Jono Slack, Leica author and Camera Tester, both of whom have led the development of this exciting capability for our photographic community. They'll walk you through everything you need to know to hit the ground running.
